The ” Monte da Avó Maria ” is surrounded by countryside landscapes, terrain as far as the eye can see, tranquility and lots of privacy. It is the ideal place for those looking for something more ecofriendly and peaceful ! It is not only a place to stay, it is an experience all together, it’s a place where you can find yourself again by disconnecting from the fast world outside.

Here you can just come and spend some hours sitting down during a meditation session, participate to a creative workshop or even book a whole stay of a few days. Our guests can enjoy silence and an environment of peace, love and harmony.

The monte is a renovated farm that combines the comfort of modern world with the wisdom of the old ways.

One unit is fully equiped for 6 pers. with 3 charming bedrooms where we have left the original fireplaces and stone walls. The other solution is a suite for 2 persons. We are offering these two nice home stay solutions to retreat guests, workshop participants, healing patients and all those who wish to contribute to our Alentejozen project.

Everyone who spends time with us has access to the meditation room, the outdoors and the garden.
It is also possible to come for a tailor-made Zen retreat outside the scheduled dates or even participate to the harvesting of our olives. (between end of october and december)

A little information: Here there are no better guardians than our dogs, who are typical breeds of the region and are there to protect the property and the sheep and chickens. They are guard dogs and can therefore alert us if wild animals visit our property at night. These are short, precise barkings.
